My partner and I enjoy vaginal and anal fisting from time to time. But, it was something that didn't happen on the first few tries. Additionally, it doesn't happen every time we try it. Sometimes it becomes too uncomfortable or painful at a point and, after waiting a while, we try it again. If it's still painful for her, we go on to something else.
Fisting is a turn-on and my partner says it fills her up nicely and that her orgasms are quite intense. But, there are some things to remember. First, it takes time, trust, and patience. You didn't mention it, but how does your wife feel about it?
Second, it takes lots of lubrication. Use a water-based lubricant such as AstroGlide.
Third, if she is tight naturally, it will take time to get vagina to accommodate your fingers. The basic technique is this: Have your partner lying on her back. With your palm facing upward, put your fingers and thumb together to form what looks like a duckbill. Slowly, insert your fingers. When you meet resistance, hold and wait for her to get used to your fingers. Have her take a deep breath and slowly exhale to relax. You might want to gently spread your fingers to help her vagina open more. As your fingers penetrate deeper, they tend to curl into a fist.
If it is too uncomfortable, stop and try again some other time. As I mentioned, it takes time and patience.
