The owners of this site include an emergency department physician and a paramedic who have a combined 50+ years of experience in emergency medicine. While the doc and the medic may not have participated in ALL aspects of human sexuality, they have enjoyed a lot of it as well as seen some of the ups and downs of intimate contact.

One of the endeavors of this site is to inform you of what can go wrong at the worst possible time and how to take care of the problem. Remember, "oops" is not a loving or erotic term.
